Successful completion of the undergraduate level 4 (Sales and Marketing) and level 5 (Extended Diploma in Management) and final year of an accredited undergraduate degree programme will give students the right credentials to go on and apply for a job in marketing, sales, human resources,management or business consultancy.

Level 4 module listing

1. The business environment: This module will help learners to understand the idea of, “environment” in business context, that it is just not about surroundings but it is about internal and external elements.
2. Customers and customer service: This module will focus on analyzing the customer intention of making purchases. Learners will study about the factors they consider before making a choice and pattern of choosing a seller. The whole module will focus on customer behavior, intentions, perceptions and choices. 
3. Marketing mix: A company is affected by two variables (macro and micro business environment) in terms of marketing. Macro environment includes, external factors like political and social etc which are uncontrollable in nature. Micro factor includes business competitive operations which are controllable in nature.
4. Marketing and sales planning: Marketing and sales are prime business elements used by businesses. It is also admired that; its planning is important to achieve business success and grow profit. For both public and non profit making organizations, prime focus is not to make profit but to attain customer/stakeholder’s satisfaction. Marketing helps to promote non profit making organizations agenda in receiving donations.
5. IT in business: IT (Information Technology) helps to attain competitive advantage and to attain it, managers are expected to know how it is used to add value for customers by utilizing it in internal and external processes.
6. Managing and using marketing: In this module, learners will be introduced with marketing, related to organizations management and operations.
7. Customers and their needs: This module will focus on customer needs identification and fulfillment which will be focused by developing long term relationship and using relationship strategies in order to develop better communication network between organization and customers. Customers will inform business about their needs and businesses will communicate them about the products availability which will enhance their relationship.
8. E-marketing communications: IT sector has been successfully evolving itself according to the business practices. Whereas the most critical part was the integration of technology with business operations which includes operations are like, business sales, customer services and communication etc.
9. High performance sales: Organizational success is dependent on multiple factors which includes an organization’s marketing strategies, sales and human resource management. Whereas the prime parameter to measure an organization’s success is, sales growth. This helps to conclude that, an organization has successfully retained its present customers and gained new ones.
10. Marketing strategy: This module will address some basic marketing questions.  For Example: How in a complex environment (marketing) organizations can develop strategies? How they identify their potential threat and opportunities? How businesses identify their target market and why they need to identify them? How positioning can influence organizational strength? In order to attain value in the long run, what product portfolio an organization should maintain?

1. The entrepreneurial manager: In this module, learners will understand the term entrepreneur and skills that are needed to become a successful entrepreneur.
2. Organization structures: In this module, learners will understand the reason behind an organizational structure and how an organizational structure is different from the other one. This will help the learners to understand different models related to the organizational structures.
3. Practical accounting analysis: This module will make learners capable of solving accounts exercises and their meaning in terms of business language.
4. Business planning and goal setting: In this module learners will understand business goals, strategies and ways to achieve them.
5. Politics and business: In this module, learners will understand the potential impact of politics on a business and how it can support a business or can influence its operations. Other environmental factors (i-e, government and economy etc), will also be studied in this module by learners.
6. Business law: This module is important in understanding the legal requirements to run a business.
7. Managing in today’s world: This module focuses on modern business practices of providing equal opportunities and focusing on governance.
8. Performance management: In this module, learners will understand that, how business and people can collectively bring improvements. They will study to review reward system, training and development importance and CPD in order to attain quality business outcomes.
9. Marketing and sales planning: In this module learners will do market analysis, product analysis, customer analysis and competitors’ analysis which will enable them to develop a cohesive marketing plan.
10. Quantitative skills: The successful completion of this module will make the learners able to have numerical exercises knowledge and it will also enhance their capability of using them in the business context.

Written assignments

The undergraduate Level 4 (Sales and Marketing) has 10 modules and 10 written assignments and the Level 5 (Extended Diploma in Management) has 10 modules and 8 assignments. On completion of the modules, students will be given access to the assignments. The assignments are approximately 5,000-8,000 words each. Students are provided support on the modules and assignments via the ‘Tutor’ section of the learning platform.
