This course is most suited to individuals who are at least 16 years old, have a high school education and wish to progress onto a degree at university, or the Undergraduate Level 4/5 Extended Diploma in Management with COTHM Online.

Level 4 Module Listing

1. The Business Environment: This module will help students to analyze the external environmental issues which can affect business operations and business itself. These challenges may include, global dimensions, economy, competition and business nature.
2. Managing and Using Finance: In this module students will cover the basic accounting areas in business context. Students will understand ways through which accountancy can be helpful in taking decisions.
3. Maximizing Resources to Achieve Business Success: Students will learn about organizations that are unable to provide enough consideration to its resource utilization and results into a business loss. Whereas, observation and proper attention to the managerial resources results into organizational profits.
4. Quantitative Skills: In this module, learners will develop understanding of numerical exercises and their usage in business context.
5. Basic Accounting: This module will help learners gain accounts understanding and how it can be utilized for getting insight related to organization’s health.
6. Budgetary Control: Financial control methods will be studied by learners with the help of budgets. This module will also establish student’s skills to develop and implement budgets at departmental level in order to successfully develop a master budget.
7. Financial Performance: This module will help to understand how an organization’s financial performance can be examined which is carried out by using the financial statements and the accounting standards. Students will also learn ways to raise finance. 
8. Financial Ratios: Students will learn to determine meaning and application of financial rations used commonly including profitability, solvency, liquidity examination and gearing.
9. Financial Statements: In this unit, students will learn presentation and preparation of financial statements (three kinds) and it also includes use of accounting concepts.
10. Further Rations: The purpose of this module is to learn the way of determining the financial efficiency including, investment appraisal and capacity of debt repayment. This will enable students to examine future financial positive outcomes.
